Intrigued by Scrapbooking
Most card designers out there also have a go at scrapbooking sometimes. And the other way round too: Most scrapbookers will have a go at card making from time to time too.
I’ve seen some amazing scrapbooks on the internet. It is very common that when I’m searching for inspiration for my own cards I will come across scrapbookers. I normally have a look at their blogs too, I won’t discard them just because they are not card makers! It would be silly, since you can still get the same amount of awesome inspiration for a card from a nice scrapbook.
The thing is the scrapbooks that I like the most are the ones that have pieces of “journalling”, aka, when you write a piece of text that goes with the pictures. My issue with this is that a) I don’t like my handwriting too much and b) I am not too talented with words and I know I would struggle to get something nice/cute/funny/witty to say. “Issue A” can be solved with a computer and a printer. “Issue B” is a bit different and difficult to solve…
I suppose I could give it a go and see what happens. I have quite a decent collection of photos of me as a child (roughly from 1 – 7 years old). There’s a set of 4 of them that are extremely cute and really perfect for scrapbooking. They tell a story and I absolutely love them.
So this is it, I am setting myself the Scrapbook Challenge!!
Happy crafting!
